Pang Mei Ling
Definitely not one of the better pork chops in Singapore and it's hard to imagine why some of the reviewers describe it to be that good... I came here craving for a good old fashion western food and decided to go for the pork chop after the raving reviews... But it's very disappointing. I must first mention that this was for takeaway and I do understand that the quality can change quite Abit after some time and the meat can get tougher... However, I have done enough takeaways for pork chops to confidently say this is far from the best, as it's quite tough. My tooth were aching Abit at the end of the meal (although it did look really good). The fries were normal, while the baked beans, somehow was below average for me. Nothing to shout about the bun too. And in actual fact, the most impressive part of this takeaway is their takeaway box! (This may be slightly exaggerating, but their box really wows me). For this price point ($10.50 for a pork chop), it's definitely way above average pricing for any hawker centres, although the portion was quite sizeable too. So thats a fair point given to them. So, will I be back again? Unlikely... I guess I can still find decent ones at below $8 and still keep my tooth after the meal. Overall, 4.5 out of 10.
