Sarawak kolo mee at Amoy Street Food Centre
Wanton Kolo Mee by Jin's Noodle brings the flavours of Sarawak to Amoy Street Food Centre, specialising in kolo mee, the springy, curly egg noodles that are a beloved staple of Kuching and Sibu hawker culture. The dish is served with a light savoury sauce, topped with char siew, minced pork, and wantons, and is distinguished by its clean, umami-rich flavour profile that differs markedly from the more commonly encountered Singapore-style minced meat noodles. Jin's Noodle maintains a Facebook presence where fans can check for updates and specials, reflecting the growing awareness and appreciation of Sarawakian cuisine in Singapore. The Amoy Street location places it in the heart of the CBD, drawing office workers curious for a taste of East Malaysian comfort food. For those unfamiliar with kolo mee, this stall offers an excellent and authentic introduction.Operating Hours

Tried the friend chicken kolo mee instead of the usual char siew which was excellent too, and it was v good indeed. The chicken was perfectly battered and even had a slight truffle taste. I wasn’t hungry so ordered the $5.50 size. It’s slightly small so I would recommend the larger portion.
