I had a takeaway of the batang and spinach soup. There were many wilted spinach leaves in my soup, which is quite off-putting. It also had alot of filler cabbage so that felt disappointing as a spinach soup. Taste-wise it was really bland, but the fish was alright.

Frequently found stone inside the chili sauce.. Aunty purposely do things slow to make customer wait so that it looks like got queue.. Over heard a conversation between the uncle and Aunty : let customer queue only, i purposely do thing slow to let them queue, then uncle say later people queue will leave, but Aunty insist just let customer wait.. Food is fresh, taste average, service not good obviously

Everyone get the fried ytf Ala carte ($7/$9) instead of the one pax ytf because if you order the $9 Ala carte specifically (and share with someone else), they give you so much more! About 10 pieces + for the $9 serving, and a lot more variety. Each piece of YTF is damn big, with generous fish paste stuffing, very value for money. Ytf will be re-fried upon order! If you get the one pax serving (can’t remember if it’s $4.5 or $4), you only get a lot of spinach and 3 default piece of the beancurd YTF variant. Plus the auntie say it will only be available in soup. So the fried YTF will be soggy in the soup. FYI, cashless payment is accepted. Convenient. But I must say Albert hawker centre is not the cleanest place to dine in.
