I walked into the shop at 7.15pm. It was totally quiet, empty but clean and neat. The lady at the counter ignored me for a good minute as if she didn't see me although I was standing in front of her. She took my order very rudely and provided the worst service ever. It was like I owed her a million dollars. So now, I have a negative first impression of the place. I ordered fried tanghoon and tomyum thick soup for takeaway. The food arrived super quickly which was a plus as I was starving. It was well packed in the containers. The fried tanghoon was good and well fried and seasoned, but the tomyum was way too salty. It was tasty but super salty and not very spicy. After consuming it, I was exceptionally thirsty even until the next morning. I wonder how much salt was in that soup. I might still go back and try other dishes but seeing how rude that lady staff was, I might not even go back at all.

Updated Nov 2024 - The standard has declined since I visited last year. I tried their steamed squid on two separate visits (4 months apart) and each time, the seafood smelt off and although they were apologetic and offered to take the...

Food is good usually but for some reason the male staff was really rude when I asked why I should come back at 3pm. Said on break, window at the front used to say 2:30pm-5:30pm is break. Then if you want break, put the sign with the break times clearly stated.

It was considered one of the good Thai food places in town, and the portion is really huge. They told me it is for two but I think it can feed at least 3 people. Ended up I over-ordered, but the food is good. Tomyum can be more spicy.

Hidden away in the corner of the shop. Most people would not have noticed this shop because of the small shop front. Ordered crab meat fried rice, chicken fried kway teow and the so-called recommended prawn cakes. Crab meat fried rice? I did see...
