Auntie is friendly but unfortunately the rojak is possibly the worst rojak I've ever eaten. The (Hae Ko) prawn paste taste is so lacking. Terrible.

Hai Ji is a rojak and popiah stall at Toa Payoh Lorong 8 Market & Food Centre, located at stall #01-03. The stall specialises in two beloved Singapore snacks: rojak, the fruit and vegetable salad tossed in a sweet, savoury prawn paste dressing, and popiah, the fresh spring roll filled with cooked vegetables and garnishes. Hai Ji has been recognised as one of the notable stalls at the Toa Payoh Lorong 8 hawker centre, which is known for its concentration of quality local food stalls. The rojak features the characteristic mix of cucumber, pineapple, turnip, you tiao, and tau pok, all coated in the dark, sticky dressing topped with crushed peanuts. The popiah offers a lighter alternative, with its soft skin encasing a flavourful filling.
