Amoy St Lor Mee is a hawker stall at Old Airport Road Food Centre, serving the traditional Hokkien dish of lor mee, braised noodles in a thick, starchy gravy. The stall's version features a robust braising broth thickened with starch, laden with ingredients such as braised pork, fish cake, ngoh hiang, and half a boiled egg. Diners customise their bowls with minced garlic, vinegar, and chilli, cutting through the richness of the gravy. Despite its name referencing Amoy Street, the stall operates at Old Airport Road, serving loyal customers who appreciate the deeply savoury and comforting nature of a well-made lor mee.Operating Hours

Portion is decent for the price. Quite generous with the ingredients and I added more prawn roll which was well fried and crispy but more flour than prawn paste.

Friendly stall owner with delicious Lor Mee which does not turn watery towards end of bowl. Happy to have some crispy textures to go with the Batang fish, braised pork and half egg - Yummy!

Easy 5/5. Very flavourful and quite generous with serving and ingredients. Uncle was friendly as well. $5 for jumbo bowl.

Really love how gooey the gravey feels and the taste is indeed awesome. Massive fan of Lor Mee and had been patronizing Xin Mei Xiang for more than 25 years, including a couple of Lor Mee in the same premises.

I’ve tried this stall for more than ten times before writing this review. This lor mee is different from the rest of the lor mee stalls in Old Airport Road Food Centre.
